Lauren Hajjar is the founder & owner of Errands and Events by Lauren. Lauren created the company in 2004 with a focus on providing personal concierge services to people in and around the Boston Metro North area. After several years of errand services, a demand for event planning allowed for Lauren to expand her services. Lauren is very creative and has a special eye for attention to detail and it shows with every event that she plans. Patience, creativity and a desire to allow people to spend their precious time doing the things they love, is what makes Errands and Events by Lauren, the company that you should choose for your next special event or when planning for a day off.
As a firm believer in education, Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA with a concentration in Secondary Education. She has expanded her knowledge and expertise with Wedding Certification courses at Northern Essex Community College.
Lauren continues to build upon her skills in the event planning industry by regularly attending seminars, workshops and being a member of National Association for Catering and Events (NACE), National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as well as other local affiliates.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time reading, exercising with Maggie and spending quality time with her friends and family at Ogunquit beach in Maine. Lauren also takes pride in being a board member of the Marginal Way Preservation Fund.
Behind the scenes…
Maggie Leyne
Maggie has been with Errands and Events by Lauren for 15 years. She is an integral part of the company as she overlooks everything that goes on behind the scenes and in the forefront. Maggie spends her time doing downward dog in the office as well as playing at doggie daycare on busy errand days. She enjoys long runs throughout Andover but looks forward to running on the beach in Ogunquit, during the wintertime. When you visit Errands and Events by Lauren, Maggie will greet you with an ever so enthusiastic jump on all fours!
Caitlin Patten
Caitlin has been with Errands and Events by Lauren for 5 years. Caitlin works full-time as a second grade teacher. She is very responsible and is great at multi-tasking while staying on top of many projects at once.
Caitlin is a very organized. She is a focused young woman with a great amount of knowledge in the area of social media. Caitlin works as an assistant for the founder of Errands and Events by Lauren, Lauren Hajjar.
Melissa Geoffroy
Melissa is a mom of two, and works full time as an Executive Assistant at a financial securities firm in Boston. On the weekends, Melissa splits her time with her family to assist Lauren at Errands and Events by Lauren with weddings. In her free time, she enjoys, skiiing, playing tennis and spending time with her family.
